Minassian Young Vineyards - Black St. Peter
This zinfandel based blend will open your eyes to what a "blend" is all about. While 45% zinfandel, it combines with other lesser known varietals - tannat, carignan, cinsault, mouvedre and petite syrah - to bring a full-bodied, flavorful, textured wine to your palate. This is how the wine maker earns her and his keep - by creating something incredibly special out of grapes previously known for their blending role!
